During the week of June 18-23, 2017, D2K staff met at a remote retreat in the Pine Mountain resort area north of Los Angles. The primary objective of this retreat was to provide five days of intensive training for the engineering team in preparation for the projected 2018 development requirements. The team also took the opportunity for several strategic planning sessions. Maria Walker, D2k President and CEO, said, “We are looking forward to serving our customers with an even greater level of professional dedication.”
Joining the team was UReason’s Senior Consultant, Jean-Marie Fort. Thanks to his extensive and insightful training, all ten of our engineers became equipped to employ additional Artificial Intelligence software from UReason. With this freshly gleaned knowledge, D2K will excel towards the upcoming 2018 goals they have set in the expanding Aerospace, DOD, and Energy Exploration markets. “With these new platforms added to our existing G2 software from Ignite Technologies, we are now prepared for the challenging opportunities in 2018.” Said, D2K Chief Software Architect, Jon Morris.
When the team was not taking in the excellent training and information, they took the time to relax and socialize with one another. Between sharing meals and conversation, playing engaging games, and experiencing the beautiful scenery surrounding the cabin, all members of D2K grew closer creating a better teamwork connection.
The development of comradery and the efficient training from UReason truly made everyone at D2K that much more equipped to hold true to our main idea and company motto: Transforming Data Into Knowledge.
