SpaceX Launches Experimental Starhopper

SpaceX successfully launched their experimental rocket ship Starhopper 20 m for the first time late on Thursday night after two unsuccessful launch attempts on Wednesday.

Starhopper is being built and tested in anticipation of a much larger launch system, the Starship, designed to transport people to the moon and mars.

Elon Musk, SpaceX founder, jokingly tweeted at the simplicity of its design, "Starhopper flight successful. Water towers *can* fly haha!!"

A 200m test is scheduled in the next week or so.
